Senator Salihu Mustapha has announced his decision to seek re-election as the Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mustapha disclosed this in a post on social media, announcing that he had picked the PDP ticket to contest the 2027 Kwara Central Senate election.
According to the senator, the development marks the beginning of a new chapter in his political journey as he seeks another term in the National Assembly.

“The journey continues…” Mustapha said while announcing his decision.
He expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of the Peoples Democratic Party for the confidence placed in him, as well as the people of Kwara Central for their continued trust and support.
The senator said he was committed to moving forward with greater determination and dedication to serving the people of the senatorial district.
“Together, we move forward with greater commitment and determination to serve. Power to the People!” he added.
Mustapha’s move to secure the PDP ticket sets the stage for the 2027 Kwara Central Senatorial election, with political activities expected to intensify ahead of the poll.
